Following an introduction from a Project Management consultant with whom Clegg had worked on manufacturing industry projects, we were invited to meet the Porsche UK and Head Office project team to discuss the opportunity to carry out this prestigious project for Porsche UK in West London.
The work involved the construction of a new Vehicle Maintenance facility with associated Offices and Staff Amenities on a site adjacent to the existing Porsche sales centre. The project took place on a very constricted site adjacent to the main A4 route into London next to the Porsche retail operation and close to residences.
The multi-storey building including a basement and high quality finishes appropriate for the Porsche brand. It included car decks at higher level for vehicle storage whilst awaiting service, fully fitted service areas at lower levels and a car lift to access all floors.
The project was delivered with limited impact to the ongoing operation and with good relationships maintained with the local community and adjacent residents.
