A huge congratulations to Roger and the team leading the construction of Peterborough College’s highly-anticipated Centre for Green Technology on achieving a perfect 45/45 on the project’s latest Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) monitoring visit.
The site scored top marks in the three areas that comprise the CCS’s code of considerate practice (Respect the Community, Care for the Environment, Value the Workforce), with monitor Peter Johnson commenting:
“Health and safety are given a high priority and there are systems/measures in place to ensure the health and safety of students, staff, visitors and operatives. The site is proactive in promoting construction as a career – of particular note is the support and encouragement given by both the company and its supply chain to a student currently on a short-term work experience placement.”
