Whilst constructing Barchester Healthcare’s Highfield Care Home in Tadcaster, Clegg held a bird box design competition at the nearby Barkston Ash Primary School as part of an initiative to help educate pupils on the importance of enhancing biodiversity in their local area. With so many highly creative designs, the judging process wasn’t easy!
Last month, a selection of the pupils presented decorated bird boxes to Liza, the general manager of the new care home, who congratulated the winners for their fantastic efforts in helping to encourage wildlife to the home’s beautiful gardens.
