Clegg Construction was recently joined by a University of Nottingham Master’s student looking to gain meaningful work experience in the weird and wonderful world of marketing.
The week-long work placement saw 24-year-old Utkarsh Trehan learning the basics of InDesign and Photoshop, undertaking social media research, visiting local sites, and spending time with the team at PR and Marketing Agency, Cartwright Communications, who provided a whistle-stop tour of all things PR-related!
Clegg Group’s HSEQ Manager, Gary Shout, accompanied Utkarsh on visits to two Nottinghamshire-based project sites – the nearly completed Florence Boot Hall student accommodation scheme situated at the University of Nottingham’s University Park Campus, as well as a scheme at Carlton le Willows Academy where Clegg is managing a construction and refurbishment project including the creation of a new, two-storey teaching block.
On the last day of his placement, Utkarsh spent an afternoon with Clegg Food Projects to gain an overview of our sister company’s expertise in delivering food and drink construction projects.
