Clegg Construction has appointed Rachel Johns MCIOB to develop their presence in the East of England.
Rachel, Framework and Business Development Manager, has 30 years' experience in the construction industry within the East Anglian region and will lead Clegg Construction's Cambridgeshire office.
Rachel will be leading on the delivery of Scape Procure's Regional Construction framework which provides construction services for public sector projects in the Midlands and East of England.
She said:
The office has been set up to initially deliver Scape's Regional Construction framework and we will use this to develop a regional business focussing on projects in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, across our broad range of sectors including Education, Commercial, Health, Leisure, Industrial, Accommodation and Retail.
The framework is a fantastic opportunity to further develop our business in the region and forge strong working relationships with Scape and our clients through the unique repeat business opportunity the framework offers, deliver added value to our clients and leave a lasting legacy in our local communities through the delivery of measurable social value.
I have over 30 years' experience in the construction industry all within East Anglia. I have a strong commercial background working with a number of local main contractors in a variety of quantity surveying and estimating roles. Over the last 10 years I have moved into more client facing roles, managing a number of local, regional and national frameworks, the last 18 months I have focused on business development in the Cambridgeshire area.
