In honour of Nottinghamshire Day, specialist construction partner Clegg Construction reflects on landmark projects it has delivered across the county over recent decades.
The company, which recently ranked #34 in Nottinghamshire’s Top 200 Companies 2022, has delivered over £50m worth of iconic developments in partnership with coveted universities, sporting giants and award-winning developers – with highlights including:
- Several projects delivered in partnership with both of Nottingham’s universities, including the University of Nottingham’s Energy Technology Building - which was awarded the country’s first BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating for an educational building – plus the RIBA Award-winning, BREEAM Excellent Lyth Building recently completed for Nottingham Trent University.
- Projects for the county’s leading sporting clubs including a first-class training facility created for Nottingham Forest Football Club, plus two state-of-the-art stands (Bridgford Road and Fox Road), floodlights and an electronic scorecard for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club at Trent Bridge.
- Iconic schemes such as the River Crescent apartment development, a £27m development at the forefront of the Trentside regeneration, as well as Center Parcs’ highly sustainable offices and headquarters, situated within Sherwood Energy Village.
