Center Parcs - Project Peacock

Elveden Forest

Design & Build

Amongst our work for Center Parcs we have undertaken the refurbishment of existing retail and restaurant facilities, including public realm works within Elveden Forest Holiday Village.
Within the live holiday environment, we provided a coffee shop with external seating areas, constructed with timber decking and balustrades located and constructed to fit in with the existing wooded location.

Other works included the installation of new shop fronts and alterations to M&E services within retail outfits. Some retail units were also extended, including the conversion of an existing spa facility into a hair and beauty outlet.

Public realm works comprised the removal of an existing mock Italian Square restaurant setting and the creation of a new open air dining facility in the village centre. An external cafe style experience was provided with paving, landscaping and external structures for Starbucks.

Providing a safe environment

The works were carried out within a fully operational holiday village in the main public areas. Center Parcs operate a maximum occupany throughout the year and provides a safe and enjoyable holiday environment for up to half a million people annually. Working safely and with minimum disturbance to holiday makers are our first considerations when undertaking work on the village; this entails discreet and appropriately decorated hoardings and barriers and a flexible programme designed to coincide with quieter periods or out of hours working, plus concise and relevant communication with Center Parcs staff.
