Works complete at Burcot Grange

19 January 2018

Nottingham-based Clegg Construction has handed over a care home in Bromsgrove which was built as part of a £4.6m contract with Cinnamon Care Capital.

The care home, called The Lodge at Burcot Grange, will provide 54 ensuite bedrooms along with a hairdressing salon, coffee shop, life-skills kitchen, reception and extensive landscaped gardens.

Primarily for residents with dementia, the building is adjacent to the Burcot Grange care home, operated by the Cinnamon Care Collection, which is located in an extended Victorian country house.

The Burcot Grange scheme started in August 2016 and was completed and handed over in November. Just prior to that in October a time capsule event was held with pupils at Blackwell First School to celebrate the development.

Ken MacKenzie, Development Director at Cinnamon Care Capital, said:

The development at Burcot Grange which further extends the facilities of the existing care Burcot Grange, is another landmark for the Cinnamon Care Collection. We could not have achieved it so effortlessly without the dedicated support and service of our trusted partners, Clegg Construction Ltd.
