Clegg Construction awarded RoSPA Gold Medal

27 April 2017

We are pleased to be a winner at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2017, marking our 8th consecutive Gold medal awarded at the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Our health and safety team will be presented with the award during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday 12 July. The award has been achieved during a special year for family-safety charity RoSPA, as it celebrates its centenary.

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants' overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The awards are now in its 61st year.

The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Gold medals, president's awards and orders of distriction are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.

Gary Shout, Clegg Group's Health, Safety and Environmental Manager comments: 'This award marks the cumulative efforts of all our teams. Safety is our number one priority here at Clegg Construction and I'd like to congratulate all teams involved in the continued efforts we make to monitor and improve safety.'
